Driver licence translation
Are you wanting to drive in New Zealand using your foreign drivers licence or do you now need to convert to a New Zealand licence? Or maybe you are renting a car or a campervan and your driver licence is not in English.
MLT Translation Centre is authorised to provide certified driver licence translations approved by Waka Kotahi (NZ Transport Agency), the Automobile Association (AA), NZ Police and the IRD. All at one of the cheapest rates available.
Driver licences cost $55 to translate on a 3 day service, an urgent same day or 24 hour service is also available if needed.
Simply email a clear image of both sides of your licence to translate@mlt.co.nz and we can get the process underway.
A pdf version of your driver licence translation can be emailed back to you. Hard copies can be collected from our office or posted to you if required.
Documents can also be brought directly to our office, upstairs at 21 Bealey Avenue, Christchurch.
We are open 8.30am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
No appointment necessary, plenty of free parking!
